Janine Cumberland
Owner, Lead Planner - Paradox Tents & Events and Enchanted Florist
WPIC Regional Representative
Janine is a whirlwind of talent, adventure, and zest for life! From running her own wedding and event rental business and it's sister company Enchanted Florist & Design Co., to having her own fishing charter, River Otter Sports Fishing, she’s no stranger to balancing business with fun. As a licensed boat captain and WPIC-certified wedding planner and regional representative (with a specialty in destination weddings and what a better place the the sunny Okanagan), Janine knows how to steer any event to success—whether it's on land or sea!
But it doesn’t stop there—Janine’s also a proud gold miner, with 19 gold leases across the province. When she’s not searching for treasure, she’s competing in international fishing tournaments like the Bisbees and Van Wormer’s in Mexico. A world traveler who loves cruise life and deep-sea fishing, Janine’s seen the globe from the deck of a boat.
With a passion for mentorship, she’s been a Woman Mentor in Business in the Forum for Women’s Achievements since 2014, and serves as the President of SOSBIS. Janine’s also a Director for the Penticton Chamber and the SS Sicamous Heritage Museum, as well as the Museum Director for Empower Penticton. She’s worked at BC Hydro, as an air artist, and she thrives on facilitating workshops to teach others.
Janine is all about enjoying the finer things in life—wine, wings, and pizza—with her two birds, Kermit and Tweedy, and her golden retriever, Rosie, by her side. Oh, and don’t forget her nickname, Gold Dust, because she’s always turning life’s moments into golden memories

Chelsea Dumayne
Event Coordinator
Chelsea is a powerhouse of creativity, organization, and event magic! With over 20 years in hospitality and event planning, she’s seen it all—from elegant corporate galas and wine-soaked culinary events to conferences and dreamy weddings of every kind. As a Certified Meeting Professional, she’s got the skills to turn your vision into a flawlessly executed experience.
Her eye for detail, design, and technical know-how ensures every event is both stunning and seamlessly executed. Whether it’s perfecting a floor plan, coordinating logistics, or adding those extra-special design touches, Chelsea brings a unique blend of creativity and precision to every project.
When she’s not crafting unforgettable events, you’ll find Chelsea in her happy place—her she-shed—tinkering with DIY projects, surrounded by an impressive collection of tools and a treasure trove of wool (she was a shepherdess, after all). She’s also an outdoor enthusiast who thrives in the snow, carving down mountains on her snowboard, or soaking up the great outdoors while camping.
On top of all that, Chelsea is a dedicated swimmer, actively competing with the Masters Swim Team in Summerland and very involved with the town’s thriving swim club, supporting both kids and adults in their love for the sport.
Her motto? No two events are the same, and that’s what makes this job an adventure!
Katie Campbell
Wedding & Event Planner
With over 7 years in the events industry, Katie brings a perfect mix of organization, creativity, and quick thinking to every celebration. Her path to planning was a natural evolution after years in hospitality and finance, where she developed a keen eye for detail and a love for bringing people together.
Katie’s favourite part of the job? Seeing everyone happy—and, of course, the food! She’s always ready for the unexpected (armed with Tide to Go, zip ties, and hairspray), and is the calm in the chaos when things don’t go quite to plan. One unforgettable moment? Watching the clouds part and sunlight hit the mountain just as a couple said “I do”—pure magic.
Fun, kind, and determined, Katie dreams of planning a wedding in Greece and can belt out more Disney songs than most adults dare to admit. When she’s not on-site with a Booster Juice in hand, you’ll find her unwinding with a well-earned glass of red wine.

Ariel brings over six years of wedding and event industry magic to our team!
With a background rooted in Vancouver’s vibrant event scene, she thrives on crafting unique décor concepts that push creative boundaries. When she’s not dreaming up dazzling designs, you’ll find her dancing, swimming, or adventuring with her son and their little pup.
Now that she has settled in the beautiful South Okanagan, she’s excited to turn our clients’ dream events into unforgettable realities!
